MI PA Foundation

Annual Scholarship Program

The Foundation was originally formed to become the charitable arm of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants, assuming the Scholarship Grant Program. Our first Scholarship Grant was for $350, open to the students of Michigan's two PA Programs.

The criteria for judging application remains unchanged from the Foundations first Awards: financial need, grade point average, and community/professional involvement.

The amount of the grant increased over the years, to today when our Foundation annually distributes approximately $1,000 to a student from each of the five Michigan PA Programs.
